Location Shots

This shot is of the protagonist by the lake at the beginning of the trailer, by her being alone, it emphasises the situation she's in, whether to protect her love, or her business. The shot was taken here because an opening longshot sets the scene and we get to see a full body view of the main character.

This shot is of the investigation board we created for the antagonist. In the actual shot, we see him looking at the board putting clues together, we see the protagonist in the middle of the board which shows his determination to get her and cast his revenge. We added this to make it clearer that he is out for revenge and it's not as easy as it looks.

This is the garage used for the end shot. We thought this would be perfect as it is very unused and looks like a perfect location to tie somebody up and hold them hostage. The fact it is a dark location and has a smeared window, this gave us some lighting to film at dusk and create a perfect cliffhanger at the end of the trailer.
This location is from when we did rooftop shots of the protagonist speaking to one of her colleagues, by it being later on and with a great view of an urban area, it sets the scene very well and indicates the type of genre the film is. We used this shot for some crucial speech as she says, "we need him dead". This makes it clear she knows he wants revenge and it is a battle to see who comes out on top.

This is one of the several alley ways we used in our film trailer. We used alley ways as they're very narrow and it seems claustrophobic for the character and they have nowhere to run. This alley way is ideal as there is good lighting from an old-fashioned lamppost and again, it is very urban. The protagonist walks down here with her girlfriend whilst one of the antagonist's men watches over.

This shot is the background to some of the action as a character runs passed the camera which makes it more tense and makes the trailer more exhilarating for the audience. We used this shot as we see a contrast in colours from the sky to the cathedral which is very urban-based. Overall, shots like this are used throughout our film trailer.
