Trailer Title Attempt

This is the title effect I have created using Adobe Premiere Pro, I have made big block text and used an urban night life point of view video which goes behind the text and moves around and gives a genuine city effect.

These are the words I have created using the effect:

OTHER DESIGNS..

As a group we came up with our own designs for the font, then evaluated what we liked and disliked about each other's, with the intention of collaborating our best ideas into our final design.

This font, chosen and edited on Photoshop by Yucef, mimics the stereotypical style of classic handwriting, which appears quite delicate - not what you would expect from a conventional gangster movie. It has a romantic edge which is emphasised by the connotations of the red colour, and this makes the image quite paradoxical because a word 'Nemesis' - synonymous with enemies, rivalry and opposition - is being paired with ideas of love and romance. The red has undertones of danger but also harbours a similar glow to neon lights, like those which will likely be a part of the gangster/thriller iconography when we film in a city at night.

These two images show the progression of Yucef's second design after researching gangster film title designs and discovering that they are almost always written in upper case, and upon asking other students (who are part of our target audience), they all agreed that within our genre, they would expect the title to be in this style, and think it looks more attractive.
